Ayran is an authentic Turkish drink that I haven’t tried my entire life. And so, when the opportunity to try drinking it came, of course, I grabbed it. It was a drink that looks like milk, yet tastes like yogurt!!! It was VERY sour, and I even wanted to back out and return it (though it would be impossible for me to do it). It was already too late when my friend told me that I shouldn’t ordered the sweet ayran. I was really, really feeling stupid that time. I shouldn’t consulted my friend first before jumping excitedly and ordered the wrong drink! That’s the lesson that I have learned from this experience. Though, on the other hand, it was such an adventure to commit mistakes while exploring something new.

It was, indeed, a very happy day yeasterday. I went out with someone whose very special to me. It was a perfect bonding moment-slash-quality time. We didn’t have any plans on what to do or where to go for that day; and, that, I think is the reason why we ended up having lunch in a turkish restaurant. It was a first for me, and second for him.
