Herbs to Sweeten Your Breathe

If you can’t stand the stingy mouthwash, then there are herbs that may help you make your breath sweeter. They all have chlorophyll which is powerful as breath freshener. These herbs are parsley, basil, cilantro, dill, anise and peppermint tea. But seeing a dentist as often as you can to have your teeth and gums checked is of course a lot better.

Spiritual Encounter

Last year, my friend invited me to a spiritual encounter exclusive for women who are foreigner in the U.S. I had attended quite a number of retreats but that particular event was “tailor-made” for me. I was able to relate well with others… somehow, we shared the same experiences, same turmoils, same needs and desires. I was so engrossed as by brothers and sisters shared their lives and how they triumphed over the trials that came… having only their faith and trust in God as weapons.

No Fast Forwards

The past few days were spent tossing in bed, staring into space, and crying my eyes out when I pray. In the next two days, I have to decide what I do with my life.

I wonder why God allows us to go through this nerve-wracking process of discernment, when it’s easier to just give the answers and set us on the right track. Can’t we just skip it? Unfortunately for me, God’s brain patterns don’t match mine. I don’t think God likes fast forwards.

Being in a Health Mindset

I have noticed that if I focus on losing pounds I immediately put myself in a dieting mindset where I am more likely to fall into the weighing-myself-daily failure trap. Then I changed my focus to being and feeling healthy. Now I believe in eating right and exercising for the health of it… and let the pounds fall where they may.
