New Year’s Resolution

Jan

When I was in grade school, the first activity that we usually do in school after Christmas vacation is to write our New Year’s resolution in not less than two hundred words. It has been a routinary activity that we keep on doing every New Year. But as I grew older, I tried to ask if it is really necessary to have a New Year’s resolution?! I thought about it many times, and then I realized that it should not only be during New Year that we should change. We can freely change our negative traits/attitudes whenever we felt that it needs to be changed or whenever we are ready to change it. And we can do it not just during New Year, but anytime of the year.

Native Chocolate Making

Jan

I remember the days when my grandfather and I used to hang around the kitchen and make native chocolates. Our chocolate is different from those commercialized chocolates made in chocolate factories and sold in the market. Ours is pure chocolate without any mixture of either sugar or milk. I would say that it is more delicious and healthier than commercial dark chocolates which contains only 40-60 percent cocoa. Our native chocolate is 100 percent made of pure cocoa beans. So far, our native chocolate is the best chocolate that I have ever tasted!! I will never trade it with any other chocolate in the world.

Benefit From Water

Jan

We all know that our health will benefit by drinking at least eight glasses of water a day. Maybe most of us know the old trick of using water to fill us up, but water’s relation to our weight goes beyond that: every system in our body including the digestive system, needs water to function. Without adequate hydration, we cannot break down food or metabolize fat efficiently.
